It has been a busy few weeks here at Fire Up, we've welcomed more visitors to enjoy our range of events and workshops and they have all been a huge success. We've got plenty more on offer for the Summer so check out the upcoming events below and head to the Fire Up events page on our website for links to the Eventbrite listings to book your space on the next round. The networking event on the 3rd August is proving very popular. Grab your free tickets while you can.
I can’t believe we are halfway through the year and the school summer holidays are only days away, with sports to attend and packed lunches to make for school trips to Blackpool etc. Looking back, school wasn’t all bad, was it. 😊 For those who will go from WFH to WFM (madhouse) until September, Fire Up will be here to provide you with a great working environment and the added assurance that the broadband will remain unaffected by the additional demands of 8-hour Xbox sessions and Boxset binges.
I am also pleased to announce that Fire Up is now able to offer unreserved parking onsite to the rear of the building. Please note that spaces are limited and we respectfully ask for the spaces on the Museum entrance side of the car park to be left clear to facilitate school parties and general public visits to Fireground Museum.
Wednesday 9th August is International Co-working Day, and to celebrate we are opening our doors, to give new users an opportunity to experience Fire Up and the benefits of co-working. We have limited free spaces available to utilise one of Fire Up’s co-working resources. In addition to this, we are also hosting an afternoon Tea party to raise money for the Breast Cancer Now Charity. The afternoon tea is for all users of Fire Up on the day, with a selection of food and drink being provided by all the Fire Up users. We will be taking donations on the day and we will also be holding a raffle to raise money on the day. If you would like to donate a prize for the raffle, please speak to Deb, on reception.
