International Women's Day Celebration Wednesday 6th March 12 pm - 3 pm
We are thrilled to bring together the Rochdale community for this fantastic event. On the day, you will hear from guest speakers, have a small buffet, and get involved in a clothes swap with the remaining clothes donated to local women's support groups.

This event will focus on bringing together a network of individuals interested and working in the creative industry within Rochdale - Greater Manchester, to uncover the overall theme of “How Do We Make Manchester Great?”
Business Advisor - Enterprise
Aise, the newly appointed Business Advisor Enterprise specialist from GM Business Growth Hub will be based at Fire Up. Aise is an entrepreneur with multiple business start-ups under his belt, across all sectors, with a strong passion for supporting and guiding start-ups on how to build and grow their businesses. Aise will be running 1:1 drop-in session every Wednesday where clients may discuss their business ideas or any difficulties they are facing in their existing businesses. If you wish to arrange a session with Aise, speak with the Fire Up team to check he is available.
Digital, Creative & Tech businesses - drop-in sessions
Working in the digital, creative or tech sector and looking for business support?
A GM Business Growth Hub advisor will be available from 9am - 5pm at Fire Up for anyone who would like to find out more about the specialist support there is in place for digital, creative and tech business owners.

This month’s spotlight is Nick Dale Local authority account manager for the GM Business Growth Hub. Having worked within Rochdale’s business community for over 20 years – covering recruitment, contract management and employer engagement, Nick has a deep knowledge of the business base and local priorities.
His role is to lead the relationship between Rochdale Council and the GM Business Growth Hub, through co-ordinating the Hub’s delivery activities across the area. He ensures that the business support package is inclusive, coherent, integrated, place-based, and aligns with the aspirations of the Rochdale local authority.
