Two attendees shared their thoughts on the value of the event:
Chris Rooney emphasised how networking has helped him build confidence as an entrepreneur with autism, PTSD, and ADHD. “Networking events like these are incredibly helpful for people at all stages of their business. I’ve been to a few, and it’s really helping me with my confidence in speaking to people. What I appreciate is how open they are to new ideas, like running neurodivergent-specific networking events.”
Zach Hughes, Creative Director of web agency Portridge, was equally enthusiastic: “Today's event was great. I’ve met quite a lot of people, and the connections you make at these events are invaluable. We’ve been working with GM Business Growth Hub for about three years now and have delivered around 30 websites for start-ups. It’s really exciting to see events like this bring the community together.”
With a packed calendar of events lined up for the coming months, Fire Up Rochdale is proving to be a hub for business growth, innovation, and collaboration. Whether you're a freelancer, a startup, or an established business, Fire Up offers a space to connect, learn, and grow.
